It was a debate that people would never forget, a debate that was highly unusual. The Democratic national committee sanctioned the first debate among all of the Democratic presidential candidates. What makes this debate unusual? The fact that it was was co-hosted by CNN is normal. The fact that it was also co-hosted by YouTube is the unusual part of it.
Dick Gephardt, former House Democratic leader, has decided to endorse Senator Hilary Clinton. Gephardt has tried running for President twice, but was unsuccessfull both times. Gephardt has planned to discuss the endorsement with reporters this week.
The endorsement came as Clinton finished up a four-day campaign swing through Iowa, which hosts the first voting contest Jan. 14. Former President Clinton campaigned with his wife for the first three days of the Iowa trip.
