Democrats Challenge Bush Administration

The Senate Democrats are on a mission to revoke the congressional resolution made in 2002 that authorized the war in Iraq. The White House is ready to fight them. The argument being put forth by the Bush administration is that it would be useless to change the resolution at this time.

Trudeau To Restore Nobility To Politics

Justin Trudeau, the son of former prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, says he wants to bring back some “nobility” to politics and help change the way the game is played. Trudeau confirmed on that he will be running for the federal Liberals in the Montreal working class riding of Papineau in the next election. The riding is currently held by Bloc Quebecois MP Vivian Barbot.

Obama And Clinton At Each Other’s Throats

The two biggest rival presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama accused each other of nasty politics because of a Hollywood donor who once backed Bill Clinton has now turned sides and completely supports Obama. Amid the Democrats’ accusations in tit-for-tat news releases, some say that Clinton tried to remain above the fray. The Clinton campaign sent out a testy news release after DreamWorks movie studio founder David Geffen, a fan of Illinois Sen. Obama, told The New York Times that New York Sen. Clinton was ambitious and polarizing.

As we all know next year is election year, which means that the candidates are making themselves known to the public so that we can pick out their flaws and decide exactly who we would vote for.
